SYNOPSIS
During a period of 24 hours, from dawn one day to dawn the next, and through a parallel montage, we will follow, camera in hand, a series of anonymous and humble characters of the Venezuelan people, who have been selected from hundreds, and who through their daily actions, their dialogues and reflections will allow us to get to know closely what this country is like, which everyone talks about but no one really knows. At no time are there interviews, nor do the characters address the camera to tell their impressions; on the contrary, it is the camera that follows them without them being aware that they are being recorded. This peculiar narrative style makes the story very dynamic, and allows us, as spectators, to see how life is really lived in Venezuela, and how the characters ‘resolve’ their difficult day-to-day lives, with Caribbean music as an inseparable companion to their daily actions.This documentary is an anthropological study, carried out over several years, of Venezuelan society, portraying the experiences of the most humble to those who enjoy a higher status. It is also a film that avoids the political bias that always accompanies Venezuela, to focus on its people, its cities and streets, as well as the present and future of its citizens.
