SYNOPSIS
Six of South Africa’s Survivors is a film by Black Bean Productions. Poaching has reached a crisis level in South Africa. Organisations like Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre are working tirelessly to rescue rhinos on the brink of death and give them a second chance at life. The effects of poaching are severe and often leave rhinos with life-threatening injuries or result in orphaned rhinos left scared and alone when their mothers are poached. This is a story of six survivors of poaching and the work Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre is doing to rescue, rehabilitate, and eventually release these survivors back into the wild.
