SYNOPSIS
Filled with life-changing situations and relatable, strong characters, Dr. Driver is a mix of melodrama, action, and medical drama. In S1, a trauma surgeon Kulygin is accused of negligence, imprisoned, and banned from practicing medicine. Released on parole, he gets a job as an ambulance driver. Being part of the crew, he points to the subtle details of patients’ conditions that help his colleagues save lives. The new driver’s medical expertise impresses everyone but he’s ordered not to interfere with the REAL doctors’ work… The character’s personal life is just as controversial. Navigating through these stormy waters, Dr. Driver wants only one thing – to legally practice medicine again. He gets his wish but it comes at a high price. Through seasons 2 -5 the audience will keep their fingers crossed for Dr. Driver to prevail over bad guys who are standing in his way of helping people. Once again, Dr. Kulygin is trying to protect the people he loves while helping the ones who need him the most.
